American Rock legend Lou Reed has died

 American Rock legend Lou Reed has died at the age of 71, according to a report in Rolling Stone Magazine.
In the 1960s, Reed's Velvet Underground became one of the most influential in bands in rock - by fusing art and music in collaboration with artist Andy Warhol.

Reed went onto further success in his solo career - achieving his most commercial hit with 1972's 'Take a Walk on the Wild Side', co-produced by David Bowie.
