Outside the Houses of Parliament where barristers and lawyers are staging a second walk out of courts in England and Wales over legal aid cuts..
Hundreds of protesting barristers in their full court dress of wigs and gowns, along with solicitors bearing a puppet image of Chris Grayling, Justice Secretary and a Magna Carta scroll which will be delivered by protesters to the Ministry of Justice at midday. The march coincides with a nationwide demonstration of non-attendance which will affect hundreds of cases across the country.
Protest against the government's £220 million cut in legal aid, which lawyers say will force hundreds of firms to close across the country.

Today's demonstration was also attended by former Blur drummer and solicitor David Rowntree and is the second time lawyers have walked out over the cuts after causing widespread disruption with their first protest back in January.
