Famous Greek riot dog dies.

'Famous Greek riot dog Loukanikos dies. He has become so famous for his peaceful protests.... And he has become a mascot for protesters furious at stringent government cuts and tax hikes. He had suffered some health problems from inhaling tear gas.
A ginger mongrel which became a Greek folk hero during anti-austerity riots in 2011 has died aged 10.'
In 2011 Time magazine listed Loukanikos as one of its personalities of the year.
